Movie Review: The Walk

Last night I have seen one of the best movies of this year. It is called The Walk and the main actors are Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Charlotte Le Bon. In my opinion this film is the best Joseph Gordon-Levitt has done so far.

What is this film about I hear you asking?

Well…

In 1974, high-wire artist Philippe Petit (played by Gordon-Levitt) leaves France for America to realize his dream: to walk the immense void between the World Trade Center towers. For his dream to come true he needs some accomplices to help him discover all the secrets of  the two towers and to set up his wire. The gang will face a lot of obstacles, but will they manage to succeed in their attempt to make history?

Robert Zemeckis , the director of the movie has used photorealistic techniques  and has done an amazing job creating such a visual masterpiece. Watching this movie you feel like you can reach the clouds.

I recommend this film and I advise you to watch it in 3D !

Here’s a trailer to support my arguments :
