The Boss Movie Review

Hi there and welcome to a new movie review, here on Rawmanian. Today I have seen The Boss, a film with Melissa McCharthy and Kristen Bell. This film is a comedy and if you have seen some other movies which feature McCharthy then you should be used to her humour. The Boss is directed by Ben Falcone, mostly known for Tammy (2014), What To Expect When You’re Expecting(2012) and Enough Said (2013).  A synopsis for The Boss reads :”A titan of industry is sent to prison after she’s caught insider trading. When she emerges ready to rebrand herself as America’s latest sweetheart, not everyone she screwed over is so quick to forgive and forget”.

If I were to categorize this film I would brand it as a family one as it is easy to follow and it has some nice humourous scenes. It was nice to see Kristen Bell as one of the main actresses as I appreciate her a lot.The villain was played by the brilliant Peter Dinklage, which you may know from Game Of Thrones.  The Boss is not an extraordinary film, but it is enjoyable, as it is filled with funny moments. You can’t expect to be knocked off your feet from this kind of  comedy to be honest, but it is fun to watch. I would rate it with a 7 our 10.
