Hey guys and welcome back to my blog ! Today’s post is about new music, and to be more precise new music from Rita Ora. The British artist has finally dropped today the official music video for Your Song , a tune that is so different from what she released so far. It’s upbeat, with catchy lyrics and it gives you that summer feeling, in my opinion.
Watch below the official music video for Your Song by Rita Ora:
Hey guys. I’m back with another post, this time I would like to bring into the spotlight a music video that has just been released. I’m talking about Romania’s entry for Eurovision this year, Yodel It by Ilinca and Alex Florea. I must say I’m pleasantly surprised by the good quality of the video and the visual elements that were used so smartly. I like the idea that it promotes Cluj, one of the most beautiful cities in Romania. Overall, I think it’s a good video for this song and it gives a plus on the image of our singers.
This year Eurovision Song Contest is held at Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, with the two Semi-Finals being scheduled on 9 and 11 May 2017, while the Grand Final is on 13th May 2017.
I hope you’ll enjoy Ilinca and Alex Florea’s video for Yodel It ! which you can watch below and I’m waiting for some comments from you. Last, but not least good luck to Romania at this year’s Eurovision!
Smiley tocmai a lansat un videoclip nou ! Acesta este pentru piesa Indragostit (desi n-am vrut), single care va fi inclus pe al patrulea album al artistului, care apare anul viitor.
Sa urmarim impreuna videoclipul:
Hey boys and girls. Sorry for not posting today. Been another busy day. I’ve found some time now to write a bit for you.
Song of the day belongs to Antonia (a Romanian singer) and it is called Marionette. In my opinion it’s her best song. It sounds awesome and the lyrics are powerful. Her other successful tunes are Morena, Marabou, Jameia, Hurricane and Wild Horses (a featuring with Jay Sean).
Check out the video for Marionette:
We all have moments when we’re looking for something to motivate us to achieve certain goals.
Music can help you get motivated through its lyrics and/or the sound of a track.
I spent some time today to think of a playlist containing motivational songs.
Here’s what I came up with:
John Newman is an English singer. His biggest track up to date is Love Me Again which has peaked at number one on the UK Singles Chart . He also collaborated with Rudimental on Feel The Love (another number one) and with Calvin Harris for the track Blame. As of February 2014, Newman has sold over 1.3 million records in the UK alone.
The genres covered by John Newman are: Soul, Pop, Breakbeat, Northern Soul.
I was lucky enough to see him on a concert in London, where he was a supporting act for Taylor Swift on her 1989 gig. He is an amazing vocalist and a great dancer, I might add. Watching his performance on that fine June day, a song of his got stuck in my head (later I found out that is called Tiring game). I really liked the instrumentals and his voice just adds value to the song.
For me it’s a feel good song. It invites you to dance.
Check out the official video for Tiring game (featuring Charlie Wilson) below and if you liked my post share it with your friends (Sharing is caring)
I decided to share a personal thing with you: some of the music that I listen to. You can check it out here:
In the player here on my blog there are 200 songs…if you choose to follow my playlist you get 819 more.
Hope you’ll enjoy my selection of songs.
Taylor Swift is one of the biggest names in the pop music at the moment. She has a huge fan base, record sales on her album 1989 and she brings guest stars in her worldwide tour.
I am a fan of her music as her songs sound awesome, people can easily relate to he lyrics she sings and she is also a modest person.
She is way too cool for the music industry !
Anyway, this post is about a cover of Taylor’s “Wildest Dreams” performed by Ella Henderson (a former X Factor contestant, who is now a successful singer) and Kygo (a Norwegian DJ, quite popular at the moment)
They sang the cover on the the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge. Watch their performance below:
What do you think about this cover? I like it a lot 🙂
He has a killer voice. It’s quite impossible not to like his tunes.
I’m talking about Sam Smith, of course. His last tune, Writing’s On The Wall, featured in the brand new Bond movie, Spectre, has received controversial comments: some people love it, some people say it’s the worst Bond song ever.
In the meantime, Sam just launched the official video for one of his biggest songs so far.

What do you think? Do you like this video?
